XO'S GENERAL SUMMARY:

- USS Pathfinder on Recon: DeHavilland consults with the captain of the Theseus and weighs the risks of going forward to the Korinn homeworld in search of more information on the Pyrryx in the region. Steiner continues to prepare for the worst and tests the prototype railgun.

- Loki System: Zayne meets with his newest senior staff on Obsidian Command and updates them concerning the Pyrryx threat. Rubens makes himself familiar with the situation of his department and begins diplomatic efforts on Planet Obsidian, meeting with the Kalaran majority leader. Brek takes on an apprentice and helps out an artist friend. The Breckinridge flight group works with Tann to help the refugees and their livestock transfer down to the settlement on the Itonian Bajada.

FLYING SOLO CHALLENGE

January's solo word count leader was Polar! He made the first and last entries of the month as Ibn Sharjar, and both posts made excellent reading. It was a close contest however, with excellent solos from Spiral, Sep, and David too.
