Personal History Born in the picturesque coastal town of Villefranche-sur-Mer, France, Chris Leblanc inherited his love for mechanics from his boat mechanic father. Growing up, he spent countless hours alongside his father, learning the intricacies of boat repair and maintenance. It was in these moments that his passion for engineering and problem-solving first took root.

At the age of 14, Chris embarked on his first journey into space, visiting an aunt on Luna. This experience ignited a profound fascination with the cosmos, setting the course for his future. Driven by his newfound passion, he enrolled in Starfleet Academy with the goal of becoming an engineering officer.

Chris's early career on the USS Damascus as an Ensign presented challenges, as he navigated the complexities of being a big fish in a relatively small pond. Resource constraints often hindered his ambitious projects, but these obstacles fueled his determination to excel. His tenacity caught the attention of superiors, paving the way for his next assignment.

Joining the USS Atlantis, Chris quickly proved himself as a competent and innovative leader. After the Chief Engineering Officer moved on, Chris assumed the role of Chief Engineer for a year and a half, showcasing his ability to lead and plan complex engineering projects.
His next assignment took him to Earth Spacedock, where he learned the intricacies of managing a large engineering department while also gaining insights into broader station operations. The turning point in Chris's career came during his role as Agitant to the Head of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers at Starfleet Command. Shadowing the top ranks of engineers, he realized his aspirations lay in high-level engineering management. It was during this time that he faced personal challenges, as he dated and even became engaged to a woman. However, unwilling to sacrifice his career ambitions for a settled life on Earth, the engagement ended, marking a bittersweet chapter in his personal history.

Chris's journey took another unexpected turn when he was reassigned as Chief Engineer to Obsidian Station, leaving behind his established life once again. His current assignment involves overseeing critical engineering operations on the frontier, where his innovative spirit and leadership skills are put to the test in the vast expanse of space. Chris Leblanc continues to forge his path among the stars, driven by a passion for exploration and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of engineering excellence.
