M3 - "Stranger on the Shore"
A great collaboration between three writers, who worked together to reveal, through light touches, the existence of a lost UFP Marshal whom no one knew about. Through the tenacity of Chief Deputy Marshal Steiner and the somewhat reluctant cooperation of Major Wallace and CPO Xeri, the mysterious officer’s life is brought to the fore, with the use of an immersive flashback, coloured by Bajoran culture. M3 - "Homecoming"
This is the post that sees the USS Pathfinder back to Obsidian Command. There is a sense of relief, the return to safety and a place they call home. For Major Porter Wallace and Chief Petty Officer Ibis Xeri it’s a moment that signals the end of their ordeal. There is however, one more hurdle to go through: an official reception by the Marine Corps, and no one is going to escape this honour.

It is a post that shows Starfleet at its best, and what happens when two heroes finally make it back home. (entered retroactively. Awarded Aug '23)

Sim Feature Post: “Better to Give”
An enjoyable read, in the spirit of the festive season, where we are reminded that it is better to give than to receive. A heart-warming notion which is illustrated with a family reunion where the gifts that are given have been selected with great care.

Major Porter John Wallace- Obsidian Command
A revived legacy character, Wallace was previously a staple aboard Obsidian Fleet’s USS Nimitz, serving as MCO over a decade ago! Back then you would have read of a hellbent and bitter man, a tortured soul who had lost everyone he loved and everything he dreamed of while fighting in brutal ground combat during the Dominion War. But as it turns out, life wasn’t through sifting Wallace. When reprised this year on Obsidian Command, we learn he has been wasting away under nine years of imprisonment and hard labor on an alien world, but even as his physical strength fades, his heart rekindles and he finds a new reason to live, and a new family to fight for. Wallace as a character is one of the most satisfying complete arcs out there, and this year has been graced by Wallace’s thematic portrayal of the Power of Love.

For the ongoing writing of Major Porter Wallace, demonstrating his inner change and his adaptation to his new life with his new family as his own heart warms and he is even sheepish about his violent and bitter past self. But now he’s all in, in a bold new way— supporting Ibis through her struggle with post traumatic stress, loving on his kids, and making his new family permanent for life with a marriage proposal and fresh new ink wreathing his heart.
