NEW AWARDS

In our Sim Awards page, you’ll find … more than a few new awards we’ve added to OC’s awards program! Some are unique to OC, others are being added to reflect additional fleet level awards.

Please Note - images for the awards have yet to be created and added, but the descriptions are in the system!

OBSIDIAN VERSE
Recognition for key effort and participation in connective stories mindfully coordinated with others from the wider fleet, especially where the posts are of a set or series and are published to all participating sims.

INTERNAL LIFE
An introspective award, particularly for solo written work illustrating or developing the inner life of a character (include example posts in nomination)

KINDNESS
More subtle than other commendable acts, kindness is no less commendable. Often displayed through befriending others, being a good listener, overlooking insult, reaching out to strangers, or other quiet but honorable actions, acts of kindness deserve recognition, even if the kind heart is likely to demur. (IC or OOC)

SUPPORTIVE WRITING
In the cooperation that is group writing, it can be a challenge to share story development equally. A supportive writer takes tags, cues, and hooks inside of the collaborative work and makes those opportunities flourish with their own imaginative contributions, expanding on them and ultimately leaving the whole greater than its parts.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
This player shows continued presence in the RPG community, building out-of-character camaraderie and welcoming and engaging others. The player is available and approachable and makes the game a delight overall. (OOC, Sim, Fleet, or Inter-organization community activity)

NOMINATION COMMENDATION
To commemorate unelected nominations entered for awards and contests at the fleet or inter-fleet community level. (OOC)

GOLDEN PADD
To denote OC writers as winners of writing recognitions at the Fleet level (OOC)

JFC RECOGNITION
To denote OC members selected at Fleet level under JFC’s recognition program (OOC)

VALENTINES DAY
For recognition of high quality posts in the theme of romantic love. (not limited to actual Valentines day...)
