Overview OOC
OC welcomed a new player this June! Zach is playing Lt. Samual Johnson as a dockyard project manager, and his wife, Krosin, as a concierge in civilian affairs.
We also have multiple players who were on leave for personal life reasons. We look forward to having them back to play in the coming weeks/ months as life allows.
Our posting streak continued for the 4th month running, and I did reach out to our TFCO and asked for OC to be considered for the Supreme SPM award. I will let everyone know if anything comes of it. The pattern is holding so well, that I am not afraid to consider counts of over 80 SPM to be a normative for us, where as in the past 80 SPM was a high water mark for an active month. While numbers are not everything, it’s a quick way to gauge active interest and engagement.
In our sim Nova, we began a few new break out missions, so that players who largely write in certain locations or elect to establish their characters outside of the main plot thread can organize those posts in a standing mission in the nova system.
We expect some minor issues concerning using these new Ongoing Missions but anticipate it helping in the long run as the sim potentially grows and uses these other locations and player directed threads outside of the main mission to more advantage.
Players will find the selections available to use in the drop down mission selection while editing their posts and can now pick from

There were two FAQ resources added to the sim wiki
FAQ 1: Application and Character Creation
FAQ 2: Pace and Style on OC
And one resource was added concerning the planet Korix, prepared by David

Sep made a number of image updates to the site, including a fresh logo for the sim, site banner, and images for the new Ongoing Mission headers.
The entire Nova was updated to the next Nova 2 iteration, and there was some troubleshooting surrounding the matter of the email sender. Special thanks to duLac for sorting it for us.
M3 post-action writing was still the order of the day for June. M4 is still somewhere in the GM’s imaginings and we are all waiting with bated breath to learn more! The astute may notice that he has fashioned a new mission image as a teaser, however:

Although there isn’t yet an active recruitment campaign, we expect to run some advertisements this summer between mission wrap up and the next story roll out.

USS Pathfinder on Recon:
Theseus and Pathfinder set a return course for Obsidian Command, at top speed. Along the five day return ride, they handle hiding evidence that might point to the USS Alabama’s involvement with their mission and the injured recover in sickbay.
Loki System:
Continuing posts following the ibn Sharjar thread on Planet Obsidian, and following the exploits of one Ferengi Art Dealer on the station. Also, a new Dockyard PM arrives and he and his wife begin to settle in.

It’s me I guess. Sep was too busy binging Star Trek: Picard to notice I took the lead…
A really strong count for a variety of writers. Good solo month, and as always, high quality reading as well! I’ll keep the paper crown uncrumpled and ready for the July contest.
